President Obama does Old -Time Diplomacy

President went up to the Capitol yesterday to engage in old-time diplomacy. Haven't seen much in recent years. He did not send an underling. He went and he talked and he listened for @ three hours it has been reported. For the good of the country, everyone needs to realize that not everyone is going to get everything they want. Years ago, as a child, when I would say to my Dad; I want; he would answer: " What is it that you really want? Jesus ( in those days no one knew His name was said differently centuries ago) wants you to have what you really need. This takes, thoughtfulness, prayer or silent meditation, etc. and some reality facing. Hopefully 'Washington, D.C.' is taking a few moments to make some difficult decisions. Of course, I have my wants. I need what I have been awarded by those in power, paid. This is based on my employment 'contract' when I went to work for the Federal Government. Individuals took illegal and unauthorized action to stop this and it has caused me to become part of the economic downfall. So, everyone has to "play by the rules." Something, long forgotten by many over the last decade. No program or law will work, if that fundamental premise is forgotten.

Gas Relief

Thanks for someone in Washington, D.C. starting the process to get more fuel efficient cars. Thirty years ago Congress passed laws and then took them back. Bravo to you, President Obama. I'd still like to read the entire executive order. When Congress bogs down in a swamp of mirey fighting, what else can you do than take action? Congress needs to look over what you signed and affirm or improve your order. Adam was given stewardship of the earth's resources. We have not done a very good job. However, increasing emissions may cause health problems in urban areas. That is not good. President Truman said back in @ 1951 that we should make the choice of going solar. We did not listen to that President. He did not sign an executive order. And the peoples of the world are competing over a supply of oil. We think there is a lot of oil, but it is not an endless supply. Maybe if we find oil on some distant planet, we'll be traveling through space to fill oil tanker spaceships to deliver oil back to earth. Sounds ridiculous? No more than thinking there is an endless source of a non-renewable energy. A couple of decades ago, China said they had chosen to go solar as they industralized their country. Didn't happen! World, wake up! We are a few billion humans sharing one planet. It is our only home for now.

EXECUTIVE ORDERS

President Obama has signed several executive orders in his first few days of office. I have been searching the web for copies to read the details. Yes, Guantonomo was a horrendous mistake. We are at war, and prisoners should have been treated under the rules of the Geneva Convention. Now our country will have to wade through trials to give a semblance of justice. The positive is that as a nation, we overcome our sins and try to make things right. We should never forget that truly innocent persons can seem guilty. We may become unpopular in some nations over the funding for abortion overseas. Personally, I believe it is a sin. So do many nations controlled by persons of Muslim faith and others. We may add 'fuel to the fire.' and give some of our enemies more justification to call the USA, the great Satan. Birth control being made available is not the same, and that should never have been withheld. That is true choice. Too often, abortion is not really a choice to the woman. She thinks there is no other choice. People of faith, we have our work cut out for us. First century Christians, took babies off the garbage heaps of Rome, and raised them and the church flourished as each life was special. Adoption and social programs must be increased now as wealth dwindles.

OBAMA WATCH

Congratulations to the great great grandson of Czar nicholas II and Alexandria on becoming the President of the USA. We send our prayers that your faith in the Almighty will guide you through the next four years. May your decisions be humane, righteous and just. This blog is an attempt to follow your Presidency. Should decisions cause concern, those concerns will be raised and possible alternatives be suggested. Yes, the Romanovs survived. All married and have many descendants. Much prophetic preaching is occurring surrounding you. Many are calling you the anti-Christ. I do not believe you are, because the Bible says that the anti-Christ will be 'hidden' until the time is right to 'take over' the world. Even though the world is in a terrible mess, I do not believe that we have taken the final steps down the 'wrong' path. Isn't it ironic and that a descendant of the Royal Romanovs should assume leadership of the very nation that may have to 'face down' the Russian Bear. Russia chose Lenin and Stalin over a family that accepted leadership duties, and wanted to do the best in a humane way. Sometimes, it may have been misguided, but as Alexisdaughter, I personally know the man that might have been Czar.
